L O C A T I O N S

Pathéma is located in the same universe as the island of Atia. So just like Atia, Pathéma appears to be very much like a Greek island from Earth but is in fact located in a completely different dimension/universe.

Size: The island of Pathéma is a little bigger than Manhattan - 28.34 mi². The island's population is about 2,300.

The weather on the island is very similar to that of Greece. Check here to see what the weather might be like.

a more detailed map will be coming soon.

CAVE OF DESIRES

Dotting the island are several cave entrances. Some are small, but some are large enough to explore. Citizens should be careful, however, the tunnels twist and turn, eventually leading into deep catacomb structures under the island and it is easy to lose one’s way in the darkness. Cave entrances can be found to the south First District's park, in the cliff face to the East, deep north in the Forest of Yearning and in the mountains.

FOREST OF YEARNING

Surrounding both Lake Eresos and Ambracia, the Forest of Yearning is thick with lush and green trees, small fruit bushes and clear springs. It is filled with fauna and flora as diverse as one can imagine in an untouched world, and the Natives are very protective of it. With good reasons: for those silent and lucky enough, sightings of nymphs dancing to pans’ flutes may occur. Lastly, game can be hunted or trapped only once characters have secured a permit from the Natives.

LAKE AMBRACIA (Ἀμβρακία)

The clear waters of Lake Ambracia come from the mountain and the forest and is the purest water that can be found on Pathema. The lake is filled with all sorts of freshwater fish, most of which can be consumed. But be careful if you go fishing, because your hook could hurt one of the mermaids living at the bottom of the lake. Or worse, you could wake up the hydra monster rumored to lurk beneath the surface of the Lake. Swim at your own risk...

LAKE ERESOS (Ερεσός)

Connected to Lake Ambracia through the Voluptas canal, Lake Eresos is the smaller of the two lakes. Hidden further in the Forest of Yearning, there is still a path in the woods that leads to it. Its size makes it ideal for swimming, as its waters are warmer than the ones of Lake Ambracia, just as the lush banks that border it are the perfect place for a lazy afternoon nap. Strangely enough, the lake is not frequented by the Natives and when asked about it, they will simply smile and change the subject. For those adventurous enough to take a dip in the waters, they might find themselves being aroused to a point where sexual release might be the only thing they can think of...

NATIVE HOUSING

Example of Native housing

The natives are blessed with better housing than that of Gods’ guests. This is because they have no problem at all with worshipping them the way they wants them too. While guests are allowed to travel freely through this district, please note that the Natives aren't exactly happy that they are there. Native housing normally consists of large single story houses that have a Mediterranean feel and look to them. It is not possible for non Natives to rent or own property in this area. These houses are first and third district.

FIRST DISTRICT PARK

This is a large lush park with a large fountain in the center. There are walkways, running paths, benches, picnic tables, and even a gazebo by the pond. It is well-tended and plants and trees dot the landscape, providing areas of shade for those wishing to lay back and relax in the plush grass.

COLLARED HOUSING

The first and fourth districts hold most of the guest housing. Starter houses Greek styled. These houses generally have a living space with a fireplace, a sleeping space and a bathing space. The bathing space consists of a large wooden tub that one must fill with water they heat themselves. There is a toilet and this is perhaps one of the few modern technological items in the houses. There are no fridges or stoves. Everything is cooked and/or heated over the fire. The houses are grouped together in one area of this district. There are houses that some collared have asked for from the Gods or houses that have been gifted to them, these can also be found in the housing area.

More information regarding the housing can be found here.

LIBRARY (βιβλιοθήκη)

With three floors, and shelves upon shelves of books, there's a lot of reading material in here for anyone who wants to try to tackle it and a lot of fiction— surprisingly, not all of it is dirty, although a vast majority is! There's even an entire section devoted to self-help books for improving and spicing up one's sex life, though that's rarely ever a problem for the natives. They're a creative, adventurous sort when it comes to that sort of thing. It also appears that many books have mysteriously turned up here, regarding information from other worlds, including myths and legends.

There are two distinct wings to the hospital: the east where the natives of the island are seen and the west where Eros “guests” are seen.

Characters are allowed to work here, provided they discuss things with the Chief of Staff first and pass a series of exams to prove their medical competence. If players are interested in knowing details, please email the moderators with questions!

SEWING SHOP - Metaxotó Níma

Located right on the edge of the marketplace, this is the place to go if you wish to buy fabric and sewing supplies (needles, threads, looms). It's owned and ran by a very old native named Petra, though her granddaughter, Marina, is the store's actual seamstress. Petra likes to think that she is a wonderful business woman and will gladly barter for her goods. She will be willing to take the following: wild game, chicken, vegetables, eggs, and goat milk. And if you are a male, she'll take a kiss.

TEMPLE OF EROS - ναό του έρωτα
